Hotel Playa la Arena**** is situated on the coast of Puerto Santiago, against the backdrop of the famous cliffs of Los Gigantes and it is only metres away from a pretty volcanic beach. Hotel Playa la Arena offers magnificient views of the island of La Gomera and the sea. Space, serene tranquillity and a vast blue sea reflecting often perfectly cloudless skies.

Hotel Playa La Arena has 432 elegant, spacious and soundproof rooms. Our superior rooms have pool and seaview (supplement charged). All junior suites enjoy views of the poll and the sea.

Restaurant

For lunch we recommend “La Palapa”, the snack bar & restaurant next to the swimming pool. Each evening, you can sample the delicious dishes of the buffet and Show Cooking grill of the main restaurant.

Facilities and Services

You can choose from a wide range of daytime activities organised by our entertainers, such as French bowls, mini golf, tennis or table tennis, or you may simply prefer to relax. Every evening you can enjoy international shows in the nightclub and dance the night away to “live music”.

Other facilities and servicies: Conference Centre (capacity: 400 persons), unisex hairdressers, rent-a-car and medical centre.

The children have lots of fun at their very own playground.

Swimming Pool

The Wellness Center, situated beside the Conference Centre and waterfalls, offers outstanding massages and therapies from around the world, based on traditional healing rituals and with many unique to the Canaries.  The fully equipped and air conditioned gymnasium offers an excellent environment for fitness, overseen by their own professional personal trainer, and this is complemented by the spacious dance studio that is home to numerous classes (extra charge, not under hotel managment).
