Safe, fun, and  friendly the swimming pools at Spring Hotels are a great favourite but you can’t beat the feel of the sand between your toes down at the beach. Tenerife offers a great variety of beach life, each has its own character and plenty of services.
Guests at Arona Gran Hotel in Los Cristianos can enjoy the full range within a short stroll. Las Tarajales just below our sun terrace is wild, undeveloped and mainly shingle, the promenade is a great place to watch the ferries come and go. Further along near the old port a small light sand beach is very popular with locals and has sun beds and shades. Go through the tunnel at the far end and be stunned by the vast sweep of golden sand that is Las Vistas beach.
Imported sand helped to create this purpose built dream in two parts either side of the fountain. The sheer size means there is always room for everyone, the beds and shades are there plus jet skis and banana boats off the beach. Lifeguards are on constant patrol to ensure safety and disabled bathers have special access areas and help from the guards and adapted buggies to go swimming. Both beaches have volleyball and football tournaments.

Playa de Las Americas is known for its dark volcanic sand and gently shelving swimming areas. Hotel Bitacora and Hotel Vulcano are a few minutes walk away via pedestrian zones through the commercial zone. Playa de Troya is split into several separate beaches by break waters and tufted natural shades are planted along the back of the beach for a cool retreat. Water sports are very popular here too, you can have fun with small boats and leisure craft or ride the waves on inflatable sun beds. Have fun, your Spring Hotel will be ready to welcome you back and tempt you with the evenings entertainment and a full choice of food and drink.
